Interior Painting
Living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways, stairwells, and basements. One room or the whole house. You choose the colors and finish, and we'll tell you what holds up best on each surface, like a washable finish for a kitchen or a hallway that gets a lot of traffic.
What We Can Help With
- Walls and ceilings
- Trim, doors, and windows
- Kitchen and bathroom cabinets
- Accent walls
- Small patches before painting
When It Makes Sense
- You're getting a home ready to sell or rent
- You just moved in and want it done before the furniture arrives
- Walls are scuffed, stained, or faded
- You're ready for a different color
- Kitchen cabinets look dated but are still solid
What Affects the Scope
- Room size and ceiling height.High ceilings and stairwells take more time and equipment.
- Wall condition.Patches, stains, and old glossy paint need more prep before the new color goes on.
- The color change.Going from dark to light, or the other way around, may need extra prep or coats, depending on the paint and the surface.
- Detail work.Trim, doors, and cabinets take longer than open wall.
- Empty or furnished.Furnished rooms take time to move and cover.
Exterior Painting
New Jersey summers and winters are hard on exterior paint. We paint siding, trim, doors, porches, decks, and fences. When we visit to prepare your estimate, we check for peeling paint, exposed wood, and gaps that may need attention, so the prep is part of the price from the start.
What We Can Help With
- Siding and trim
- Doors, windows, and shutters
- Porches, railings, and decks
- Fences
- Scraping, caulking, and priming where needed
When It Makes Sense
- Paint is peeling, cracking, or chalky
- Wood is showing on trim, sills, or railings
- The color has faded unevenly, especially on the sunny side
- A deck or fence has gone gray and weathered
- You're getting ready to sell and the outside is the first thing buyers see
What Affects the Scope
- Size and height of the house.Second stories and hard to reach sides take more time and equipment.
- Surface condition. How much loose paint needs scraping and how much bare wood needs priming.
- Siding and trim materials.Different materials need different prep and paint.
- Number of colors.Body, trim, and doors in separate colors add detail work.
- Weather.Exterior paint needs a stretch of dry, mild days, so the forecast can move the start date.
Interior Renovations & Repairs
For rooms that need work beyond paint: damaged walls and ceilings, a ceiling stained by an old leak, or a space that's ready for an update. We repair what's damaged once the source of any leak has been fixed, and we can paint the room when the repairs are done, so the whole job is quoted together.
What We Can Help With
- Wall and ceiling repairs
- Room updates and renovations
- Painting after repairs, quoted with the job
When It Makes Sense
- Holes, cracks, or dents in walls
- A ceiling stain from a leak that's already been fixed
- Walls left open after plumbing or electrical work
- A room you want refreshed before it's painted
What Affects the Scope
- How many areas need repair, and how big they are.
- Patch or replace.Small damage can be patched; larger damaged sections may need to be replaced.
- Texture matching.Walls and ceilings with texture take more work to blend.
- Paint afterward.Whether painting is added once the repairs are done.
If the damage comes from an active leak, moisture, or a structural problem, that needs to be fixed by the right professional first. If we see signs of it during the visit, we'll let you know.
Interior Demolition
Before a remodel, the old stuff has to go. We take out cabinets, countertops, drywall, flooring, tile, and fixtures, protect nearby areas and contain dust and debris as we work, and leave the area clean and organized when we're done.
What We Can Help With
- Cabinets and countertops
- Drywall and plaster
- Flooring and tile
- Kitchen and bathroom tear out
When It Makes Sense
- A kitchen or bathroom remodel is coming up
- Old cabinets, countertops, or tile need to come out
- Drywall or flooring was damaged by water and has to be removed
- A basement or room needs to be cleared before new work starts
What Affects the Scope
- Which rooms, and what comes out.
- Size of the area and amount of material.
- What stays.Anything staying in place has to be protected while we work.
- Access. How easy it is to carry material out of the house.
Any plumbing, gas, or electrical lines in the area need to be made safe by a plumber or electrician before demolition starts.

Your home stays protected from the first step, and the space is left clean and organized when we're done. The exact steps depend on the surface and the type of job.
- 1
Protect.
Inside, furniture is moved or covered, floors and fixtures are protected, and outlet covers come off. Outside, plants, walkways, and nearby surfaces get covered.
- 2
Prep.
Holes and cracks filled, surfaces sanded and cleaned, edges taped. Outside, loose paint is scraped and gaps are caulked.
- 3
Prime where needed.
On patches, stains, and bare surfaces, so the color comes out even.
- 4
Paint.
The number of coats depends on the surface and the color change, and we'll talk it through at the estimate.
- 5
Keep it organized.
Tools and materials stay in the work area, and the area is cleaned up at the end of each day.
- 6
Leave it clean.
Drop cloths and tape come up, furniture goes back in place, and we walk through the finished work with you.

FAQ
Who picks the paint and colors?
You do. We'll tell you which type and finish work best for each surface and help you narrow it down if you're torn.
Do I need to move my furniture?
Clear small and fragile items. Larger furniture is moved away from the walls or covered in place, and floors are protected before we start.
Can I stay home while you work?
Usually, yes. If a room needs to stay empty while paint dries or during demolition, we'll let you know ahead of time.
When is the best time for exterior painting in New Jersey?
Usually during a stretch of mild, dry weather, which in New Jersey means late spring through early fall. We'll help you pick dates that fit the forecast.
Do you fix walls before painting?
Yes. Holes, cracks, and damaged areas can be repaired first, and the repairs are included in the same estimate.
Do you paint kitchen cabinets?
Yes. We paint kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Tell us what you have in mind, and we'll take a look during your free estimate.
Can you do interior and exterior work on the same house?
Yes. Both can be quoted together in one estimate, or separately if you'd rather do one at a time.
